Services The Toledo campus is committed to providing individuals with a full continuum of care. Therapy can maximize strength, independence, and quality of life and is a key component in allowing people to age in place. We offer both inpatient and outpatient therapy services at The Labuhn Center, which has a state-of-the-art therapy gym and a transitional room to help prepare patients for their return home. The multidisciplinary team of physical, occupational, and speech therapy professionals will evaluate the needs of every patient and plan an individualized program designed to restore function, reduce pain, prevent further injury, and improve quality of life. Patients recovering from surgery, a fall, or other physical ailment can count on our therapy program for thorough, quality care. Our goal is to enhance patients’ ability to function in their daily lives. Nursing Care When individuals require inpatient therapy services, our experienced nursing care staff teams up with therapy staff to provide a comprehensive, short-term rehabilitation experience. We have a medical director, several partnering physicians, a nurse practitioner, and 24-hour staffing that includes registered nurses. We support many complex medical needs, including: •Wound care •Stroke recovery •Diabetes management •IV Therapy (including most types of central lines) •Tracheostomy care •Enteral/parenteral nutrition and other complex nutritional care •Cardiac care and rehabilitation •Pulmonology and respiratory care •Dialysis management Individuals in need of short-term placement following a hospital stay can find the skilled nursing care and therapy services they require, along with many services and amenities: •Private rehabilitation suites •Open dining services with meals and snack items available throughout the day in the café •Telephone and flat-screen TV in each room •Complimentary Wi-Fi access •Individual climate control in rooms
