Bennie camp stayed there about two years and we had very little trouble. He loved it very much - that was his home until he passed away from a illness on going . The staff was totally AWESOME ! I and his daughter walked in lots of days and some of the staff would be in with him holding his hand or just talking with him even singing to him . He loved all his nurses and they took time out to care for him and everyone in there . We as his family highly recommend lake city nursing home.

My mother was at this nursing home for a number of years. During that time she lost approx. 47 lbs and has lost all of her teeth , was served food that she could not eat because of no teeth to chew it up. She also has fallen sever times and laid on floor for hours before discovered. Then never send to hospital for injures unless was order to by the family. Recently my mother was ordered to be taken to NE Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. upon discovery that she had not been eating and was refusing to eat or take her Med.'s because she was to sick and could not keep food on her stomach. Mother stated to family members she had been sick for 2 weeks and couldn't eat. The only thing the nursing home had done and was doing was giving her Zofran to keep her from hurting so bad. I am her son and live 400 miles away in Mt. Juliet, TN. I have Power of Attorney for my mother's health care.
This nursing home seriously Neglected mothers health care and has prevented us from placing mother with Jonesboro Nursing Home, Green Acres Nursing home, Craighead Nursing Home and every other nursing home that Ashley Stormes the Social Worker at Baptist Hospital stated.she couldn't find any nursing home that would accept mother after they talk to Lakeside Nursing home. It turns out mother had bowel impaction. It is clear that she had not had a bowel movement for several days. She also fell the morning of her being transported to NE Baptist Hospital and had a open wound on the back of her head along with a big knot that was not noticed or reported to me or the Hospital.
