this place is seriously a joke. My loved one is currently in here and has an LPN by the name of bill. This LPN stated that her IV pump was not working correctly so he stopped it to get a new one. This happened at 6pm. the next day we went to visit her at about 5pm and she still had not had the Medication running. This was an antibiotic that she NEEDED. when asked why it was not running he completley ignore us. the other nurse asked him in the hallway when the other pump had arrived and he stated "9pm last night" so she went all this time with out the medication when the pump was there. Also this man crushed her Narcotic pain medication (she has a feeding tube) and handed it to an aide and walked away! In the medical field that is NOT okay to do. also she was supposed to get a swallow eval in order to eat, wich after 3 days still was not done, yet put her in a room with a person who could eat, she cried and cried because she was hungry and this person was eating in front of her. this place is nothing short of a joke. and who ever gave this man a LPN lic. should be ashamed as well!

It is really sad that the new administrator does care about the patients at Heartland. The nursing home is not operated properly and is providing poor care to the patients.

When patients depends are not being changed for hours and they are getting sores, I think it is time that this is looked at from the State. The home smells like urine when you walk in.

There has been many other different episodes at this home that I would not recommend anyone to stay here, when there are several others in the area.

It is so unfair to the patient.
