My Dad was here just over 3 years. The facility is clean, rooms are clean, food is good, residents kept clean and well fed. Social activity director sees to it that residents have plenty of things to do and outings to go on. There is a fishing pond here and outdoor activities. Staff is friendly, compassionate and caring. I encourage you to go visit this facility.

i visited hawthorn glen 3 times so far to visit my sister. the smell was so bad i wanted to leave. i worked in 3 different nursing homes and i know what usual ns home odors are. this is the worst smelling one i've ever been in. i wanted to go home and change my clothes.
