Initially my impression was good. A few nurses I saw interact with mom were fantastic. I felt comfortable leaving her there. I called to tell them I was coming to see her for dinner. I got no answer 3 times when I tried to call. When I arrived she was not there. The nurse (or aid) told me she had to send her out. She said she was lively one minute and then unresponsive. She was sent to ER an hour ago. NO BODY CALLED ME or any family which meant my 91 year old mom was in ER alone and had been unresponsive. This was a very bad situation. I've heard her O2 tank was empty and she was not medicated properly. It took days to reach a supervisor. To add insult her belonging were not packed up like I was told they would be. No one there followed up to see if she was ok. And we have tried twice to retrieve her belongings and some things are now missing including her luggage bag. . No resolve. This facility is unsafe for those who really need help. Investigations underway.

After several pleasant phone calls with administration, my Mom was set to transfer to Harrington on Friday. Then on Friday they said they wanted to wait until Saturday. On Saturday they said she could not be accepted until Monday. All of a sudden all communication stopped and they no longer return my calls of the calls of Faulkner hospital. On Monday after delaying us several days they ultimately backed out thru a email. Extremely unprofessional. Have a backup plan because they back out and stop responding
