I have known about Franciscan Oaks Health Center for 20 years and much to my disappointment I have seen it go from a most formidable facility to the lowest of the low. Very few staff members truly care about the residents and the others are just there for a paycheck.. The staff is disrespectful they treat the residents as if they are just objects. These residents were and are beautiful and worthy of the dignity they should be shown. The staff changes so often that it's impossible for any one of them to ever become familiar with a resident. or even care about the person. Franciscan Oaks has deteriorated so much that I would NEVER recommend it to anyone who cares about a loved one. In my opinion it's amazing how it even survives.
