Our first day with 94 yr old dad was not told anything where anything goes We got there pushed up to a table could not feed self and no less cheap plastic fork and spoon. Was accused of making videos in there making picture of dad they rushed in there telling me I can go to jail for this. My gosh. My husband was in Westeria and they are using picture to promote facility on tv I never gave permission. So I can get someone in jail? He was off his oxygen for over an hour while we were putting clothes away tagging and happened to notice went and told them said they did not know how to hook up to machine and just plugged it in wheelchair oxy. would not even come in say this is his closet and which place to put stuff in which drawers so rude. We just guessed. They took his night stand away with no place to put glasses, false teeth, drink and he is bed patient have never been treated so rude. My bro law is Dr, My sister in law is nurse my husband hospital administrator and son Nurse Practioner. I am not use to them treating people so rude. Man came into room get in room mates side of room to take care of him did not even say excuse me just plowed between us horrible. There needs to be extensive training in something other gathered in huddle around nurses station. Stopped on way out talked to sweet lady aid ran out there stood between us so I will not be speaking to any of the poor residents. Very dissappointed!

My friend stayed at this wretched place for two weeks. The CNAs were hateful and mean to her. She asked one of them would she please hand her the nursing call remote that was on the floor. The CNA told her she didn’t see it. My friend had to call her sister on her cell phone to come to the nursing home to get the nurses call remote for her from the floor, which the CNA refused to pick up. The aids ignored her when she buzzed for help. She was not given supper one night. She was unable to roll over for the CNA to change her diaper. The CNA told her she wasn’t wet, the bed was soaked with urine. Incidents like this happened on numerous occasions for the two weeks. My friend checked herself out of Crossgates Nursing home not a minute too soon. It is criminal the way the CNA’s treat patients at this facility.
