Casa Mora Rehabilitation is a beautiful skilled nursing facility newly renovated with flooring and art work. We specialize in short term rehabilitation with our excellent therapy department Accomplish Therapy and our long term care accounting for 3 out of the 4 units in the facility. We take Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Pending and most Managed Care. Our Administrator Cynthia Fitzpatrick has done a wonderful job managing the builiding and staff members to give the best care to our residents. Please stop by for a tour today and see for yourself!

If there was a place to enter 0 stars, that is exactly what I would have chosen. While in this nursing home my sister endured a stroke due to being given medication that clearly indicated she should not have with her diagnosis. Post stroke there was no evaluation via emergency services. She was "force fed", which resulted in her aspirating, coding, CPR and acute hospitalization and on a ventilator. She was tied to a rail in the shower room to shower her. Often her bed rail was down, her call light not accessible (if it was, it was ignored) and her phone on the floor. False, or omission of documentation tends to keep them afloat. Do not allow the renovations by the company that bought the facility fool you. I called every agency possible, and Casa Mora was placed on a 2 1/2 year "close watch" list. In addition, there was an article written in the Bradenton Herald on April 7, 2015 regarding their prior problems, or deficiencies in provision of patient care. At one point I was even threatened by 2 staff members. The admin and DON were filled with words that were empty, in an effort to cover up their horrific patient care. I urge anyone who has a family member in this facility to visit on a daily basis, and at various times of the day. For those who have Dementia and Alzheimer's ... they are unable to verbalize the neglect and abuse.

I walked thru with my Uncle that I was visiting, People were so nice and smiling, Staff was on top of everything, room lights would light up and nurses were answering the call quickly, Maintenance Man Don was Outstanding making patients laugh and asking if they needed anything my uncle speaks highly of him. If at any time I need a Nursing Home Casa Mora is where I will be.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
