I was happy with the care my father received for the 2.5 months he lived there. After his death, however, when I went to collect his belongings, his and his wife's gold wedding bands which he wore together and the 18K gold zodiac pendant and chain she gave him had miraculously disappeared. In fact, staff claimed to have never seen him wearing any jewelry. Even though one nurse told the hospice nurse the night he died she had seen him wear the rings, her story later changed. I filed a police report but have heard nothing from it.

Also when I went back the day after he died, of all the staff who were so friendly before, no one except the accountant said anything to me much less gave me their condoloences. I was quite shocked by that.
