I first thought they were understaffed but later realized it's the lack of quality leadership to hold all staff accountable. And the lack of good policies that would assure quality care for all residents despite their need level.

I came to be with my husband one morning and he was in horrible pain. I went to get the nurse and she told me the third shift never gave him his pain pills. He just had a leg amputated, so you can imagine what kind of pain he was in. I complained about it, and told the girl in the office that was absolutely unexceptable. With that, I took my husband out of there. No apology, no further action on there part.(alter care). Never would I recommend this nursing home.
