I went to the Frankford Hospital on Frankford Ave in Philadelphia, PA because I was in severe pain and could barely walk. I arrived a little after 7AM and after being there for a while the staff starting call patients that came in after me. I said something to the receptionist and with an attitude she said, "be patient we will get to you." I waited a while longer and them the hospital manager came out to see what was wrong based on the expression on my face and I explained to him what was wrong. He then went to back and said some to the staff about me having to wait so long. I believe the receptionist went to the back and said something to the staff about what I told the manager and I still had to wait even longer before my name was called. When I went to the back the staff in the back had serious attitude. They were unprofessional and disrespectful and very vindictive. The service I received was something I wouldn't want my worst enemy to receive. I was there for a total of 6 hours and during the entire time the only people that showed concern for me was the Security Guard and Hospital Manager. I would travel 20 miles to get help before I would go back there. Noone should have to endure such disrespect/rudeness and unprofessionalism from the hospital staff whose job is to take care of patients and try to make them comfortable while they are waiting to be seen. This was totally unacceptable, and no one should have to endure such harsh treatment.
