In the last couple of years I suffered retinal problems in both eyes (one detachment and one hole). This was due to cataract surgery (not performed by Scales). Dr. Scales did a superb job by not only treating the problems but also, while doing the treatment, going above and beyond by treating other weak areas of the retinas that might pose problems in the future. In other words he performed preventive maintanance. He also tried to make the procedure as painless as possible which is hard to do when he has to stick a needle in your eye to get the gas bubble in. It's been about 2 years since I had the procedures done and I have had no other problems.
