Dr. Donovan is personable and cares deeply about her patients. Sorry to hear that some haven't had that experience, but I will tell you why I will be sooooooo sad when she retires.

Dr. Donavan was my Mom's doctor when she was diagnosed with AIDS at Highline Hospital around '95 when she was hospitalized for a pneumonia that only people with full blown AIDS were reported to get at the time. The hospital basically gave up on my Mom and tried to release her when she couldn't even walk to the bathroom in the room without almost passing out. Dr. Donavan made sure she completed proper treatment before being sent home. Then, she proceeded to research on the internet about the disease and educate herself on the best treatment for my Mom when really treatment was fairly new at the time and being diagnosed when already having full blown AIDS was considered an immediate death sentence. She continued to be my Mom's doctor for several more years until she absolutely felt it was necessary for her to see a specialist. My Mom's life was extended another 8 years due to Dr. Donovan's commitment to her, I have no doubt in my mind. She got to see multiple grandkids be born as well as me get married. I am thankful every day to Dr. Donovan.

I have stories of my health issues I could share, too, but I will just say that Dr. Donovan has been my doctor ever since I met her. I won't go anywhere else, even when I was on insurance that was out of network, I paid full cost to go see her. She takes care of me and my family. And now that my girls are teenagers, they will be going to see her as well.

Dr. Donovan has quite a reputation for ordering lots of unnecessary tests for the slightest abnormality and/or referring patients out to specialists for the slightest thing. It seems like she is afraid to treat people beyond common ailments like a cold, so I don't have too much faith in her. I would not recommend her to anyone.

She hardly gave me any information. Most of the time I spent wondering what's wrong with me after she'd me on some wild goose chase with tests and doctors, all for nothing.

When I told her about my concerns, she listened a little, but I didn't really feel a genuine concern.

I have never waited for so long to be seen by a Doctor than I have here.

The staff was friendly and pretty efficient.
