I absolutely hated the idea of a screening colonoscopy, feared the pain and preparation, and neglected to get one for 10 years over the suggested time. Though not totally phobic, I thought that it would be just another Western "unnecessary medicine" thing - and one that would be embarrassing to say the least. Going to a female doctor was the right decision for me. Dr Wolke is relaxed, confident, and made me comfortable. Her anesthesiologist assured I felt no pain. I wish I had it done sooner, as I was stunned to learn they found 2 premalignant polyps. I like that she is careful and conservative about follow up procedures, and I trust her medical competence and her assessment of what needs to be done and when. My advice: Don't wait till you get colon cancer to get a colonoscopy!

Office is a mess, feels dark and not exactly clean. Nurses are over busy, never call.
Dr. is pretty indifferent, seemed didn't care much. Maybe they are all like that-(
At least,I didn't have an opportunity to notice that she is a good doctor.
