I have been going to Dr. Mc Lellan for years now, he delivered my son without any complications and is very knowledgable of his area of practice. However, during my pregnancy he called me with horrible news about my unborn child then 3 weeks later called and told me it was a "typo" I feel he should have crossed his T's and dotted his I's and have actual facts before calling a first time mother and put her in a straight blown panic frenzy.
Also at times he has made me feel like a child. He has a tendancy to "be-little" me on occasion.
In general i would give him a 3 out of 5 stars. He knows his medical terms and knows his medications. His secretarys are absolutly wonderful, especially stacey. She makes being in the waiting room that much better. Stacey has been there for a long time and always answers any and all questions that i have that she can answer. The waiting time however is REDICULOUS. He most definatly overbooks and it is quit a hassle to be seen.
I would however recomend him for delivery room purposes and for basic checkup visits. I have most definatly been to worse doctors and he does make you feel physicaly comfortable to be around during a very uncomfortable visit.
Thank you John for all the care you have provided for me in the past several years.
