James Heiner, MD

Dr James S. Heiner, Board Certified Infertility Specialist, Reproductive Endocrinologist is the founder of the Reproductive Care Center, the first private practice infertility and IVF clinic in the state of Utah which serves patients from Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. The center opened in 1996, followed by the IVF service which began in April 1997. The first five IVF patients conceived and the center has had excellent pregnancy success rates ever since.

Dr Heiner’s goal is to deliver the highest quality fertility care, employing a very caring and competent staff and the latest available techniques and technologies. Dr Heiner was born in Salt Lake City, Utah; he has also lived in Little Rock, Arkansas; Montreal, Canada; Southern California; Provo, Utah; Paris, France ( 2 years as a missionary); and Galveston, Texas.

He majored in Microbiology at BYU and studied Biochemistry at the University of Utah before earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) in 1985. He then completed a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UTMB. During this time he served as chief administrative resident and was honored with the “Good as Gold” award for superior patient care.

I wish they would call me back like they said they would. Or when I leave a message on their voice mail they would get back to me. I understand that we could check out results online but I am not tech savvy which is why I always call. Because I always have questions about my results or like to discuss about them. Other than that they are amazing and the doctor is always there when I have questions or concerns and the nurse team is great and treat my husband and I great and are so sweet. They helped me get answers and come up with a fertility plan and a goal. I honestly do not know what I would do if it wasn't for them. To help me get pregnant and have a family of my own.
