The best, and only good, thing I can say about Dr. Edmondson is that he was nice, though unfortunately the same cannot be said of his staff. Calls were repeatedly unreturned and medication refills were not called in before the office closed for the weekend, despite the practice explicitly saying that they would be. Time spent in the waiting room AFTER my scheduled appointment time regularly exceeded an hour. Worst of all, practice requires drug screening test (as do all practices dealing with pain medicine), and Dr. Edmondson's practice switched my results with someone else's, which the office refused to discuss over the phone. I had to make (and pay for) another appointment in order for this to be cleared up -- which, when I finally got to see the doctor, took less than five minutes (and I did not receive any sort of apology or even acknowledgment regarding how the clinic's disorganization could have completely derailed my medical history). My association with the clinic ended when, upon calling to ask about a refill and my next appointment, I was informed curtly that the doctor "no longer consider[ed] me a patient" for a reason that was never explained to me. This practice is known legally as abandonment -- and is officially malpractice (a suit may well follow) -- and left my next provider absolutely aghast. My new doctor was appalled at the way Dr. Edmondson's office conducts their business and from his perspective as a medical professional, would NOT recommend that anyone seek medical assistance from Dr. Edmondson. My experience as a patient of Dr. Edmondson's absolutely confirms that.
