I am appalled at what I am reading regarding Dr. Montalvo and his staff. I can tell you I have used Dr. Montalvo’s services since my daughter was 3 she is 17yrs old now and still only wants to see him. My son was seen by Dr. M since he was newborn at 8 days. Yes Dr. M records his visits he doesn’t have time to transpose all that data. Yes Dr. M uses “natural medicine” 90% of the time, do you want your child all drugged up? My children grew up healthy and instead of desitine diaper rash cream he prescribed corn starch and for colic instead of gas drops he told me to use chamomile tea. When my son breast fed until he was 2yrs old and I was worried Dr. M told me I was doing the best thing for my son and provided encouragement and support and you know what 1 week after that visit my son stopped asking for the boobie, lol. I love Dr. M’s methods and I have raised 2 healthy thriving kids who are not on any meds, haven’t seen Dr. M except for sports physicals and immunizations. I have been in love with his staff too he has the longest tenure of nurses that have been there for the past 14yrs I have been there and yes he does have trainees which tells me the MAN in him cares to give back to his community and train future techs and nurses. The wait is worth it and if your child is sick he will heal them but he will NOT bombard them with antibiotics which will kill your child’s own immune system to produce its own antibodies. Parents now a day want a quick fix; they don’t want to deal with a crying cranky child sometimes leaving your child to produce its own defense is better in the long run. He is a talented and kind, extraordinary Pediatrician. Let him guide you, and you are petty if you are complaining of small medical rooms and tape recorders and guess what your child isn't fragile it can be handled and he/she wont break! That’s how you raise sissies and puny whiny brats!

This place is horrible! Never take your kids there if you want the best for your kids. I switched with this Dr and let me tell you that place is awful. The nurses are real w*tches if you know what I mean and in a bad mood. They give you attitude and grab your baby in a non caring way! The rooms are soo small you can barely even fit! The DR doesn't like to give out medicine..many other drs always prescribe medicine for my child and he told me to wait it out! No way! Anyways it's just weird all over. He records the visits in a tape recorder. Wth? He did not use gloves when inspecting my child without his diaper! Then when the nurse was giving my son immunizations, she did NOT use gloves! Who does that? And besides the fact she was being a "w*tch". So I mentioned it to her and asked her if they use gloves since I see other places use gloves when putting immunizations and she just says, "No" and I tell her well that's really unsanitary. And she just ignores my comment..This is bad just all together. Never again am I taking my baby there. Find a better doctor. This doctor worries too much about his budget and not about his patients..his nurses do not have any experience whatsoever and are barely graduates from STVT just eww! So just reconsider.
