I was hopeful that I had found an OB/GYN that I could trust to have a great birthing experience with, but I could not have been more wrong! Dr. Angela Watson's care of me during the birthing experience was a nightmare. After slowly laboring for about 20 hours, with Dr. Watson only spending 15 minutes to break my water and never returning to check on me again, I finally hit 10 cm and was ready for active labor. Then began the agony of pushing for 2 1/2 hrs alone with no doctor present to monitor my baby. Family finally had to demand that the doctor be called and another hour later, Dr. Watson finally decided to show up and with no bedside manner at all told me that my baby was too big and I would need a cesarean. It is sad to see our medical care decline into a downward spiral and even sadder to see a female doctor add to that pain with inadequate, substandard care. Time to review and retake the Hippocratic Oath, patients deserve respect, time and care! Beware!
