Outstanding healthcare! His prescribed course of meds/actions have gotten my blood sugar back into an acceptable range. VERY glad to have Dr. MacConnell as my physician!

I came to Dr. MacConnell a few years back as I needed a PCP. He was my age and I thought things would work out ok. I liked my previous Dr. but it was getting to hard to make appointments with him so I felt I needed a change. Overall I felt Dr. MacConnell has done an adequate job however
recently I needed a physicians report filled out to help with a matter with Social Security. Dr. MacConnell flatly refused to do so. I ask at least 3 times and my lawyer called and talked to him and he still refuses to help in this matter. I'm not asking him to lie or anything like that, just answer about 8 questions and give his opinion of my medical condition. His refusal is probably going to cost me about $25,000.00 for something that would take him about 10 min. to do. If your just looking for someone to write you Rx. he will probably be ok, but any time I had something wrong with me that a common prescription wouldn't fix he would send me to a specialist.
And by the way, I had to fill out a credit report before he would even see me the first time and I had good insurance.
