In a world where Doctors now treat patients like they are in an assembly line and worry more about pleasing the DEA than addressing the problems of her patients ,she TREATS YOU ,shes thoughtful ,shes caring and she goes out of her way to make sure she can do her best to address your problems or issues .If you are fortunate enough to be able to get an appointment with her ,take it

~AS FAR AS THERAPY GOES; I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND DR. SMITH, HOWEVER SHE IS A BRILLIANT PSYCHOPHARM MD !! MY REASONS ARE LISTED BELOW:

*DR. SMITHS' OFFICE WAS VERY WARM AND WELCOMING AND SHE WAS ALWAYS PUNCTUAL! I BELIEVE THE LONGEST I HAD TO EVER WAIT FOR MY APPT. WAS MAX 10 MINUTES; AND THAT WAS RARE! SHE WOULD TRY TO WORK WITH YOU AS MUCH AS SHE COULD WITH SCHEDULING, BUT.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PSYCH MD TO DO INTENSIVE THERAPY WITH; I WOULDN'T SUGGEST DR. SMITH FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:
~ SHE ONLY WORKS 3 DAYS A WEEK, IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF ISSUES TO DEAL WITH; SHE MIGHT JUST TERMINATE TX WITH YOU B/C "YOU MAY NEED MORE THAN SHE CAN GIVE YOU", BUT MAY NOT LET YOU KNOW AHEAD OF TIME, DR SMITH MAY ALSO HAVE HIGH STANDARDS FOR EVEN CONSIDERING TAKING/KEEPING YOU AS A PATIENT ALTHOUGH SHE IS A PSYCHIATRIST? MADE NO SENSE TO ME. I FELT AS THOUGH IF I WASN'T ACTING LIKE THE "PERFECT" PATIENT THEN THAT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER AND I ALSO FELT AS THOUGH SHE WAS VERY BLACK AND WHITE IN HER THINKING.

AS FOR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT GOES; DR SMITH IS FABULOUS AND HAS A SPECIAL GIFT FOR "FIGURING" OUT DIFFERENT COCKTAILS OF MEDICATIONS TO HELP EACH INDIVIDUAL PATIENT. SHE IS ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND IF NOT SURE SHE WILL TAKE TIME AND RESEARCH EVERYTHING SHE CAN TO FIND OUT AND BE UP TO DATE.
