I transferred my records from a wonderful psychiatrist in York, PA to Dr. Leib due to Dr.Leib's office being much closer to where I live. My "issues" that I was seeking continued treatment for were Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, and anxiety and depression. My depression was very linked to my hormonal cycle, and was very manageable. My ADD has been a difficult issue for me all of my life. I struggled so hard to focus and stay organized and had to work 10X harder than the average person in college. I managed, but as life got more and more busy and work involved much more management skills and organizational skills, and focus....I struggled and went to a doctor in YORK. He prescribed me Ritalin, and it was like a lightbulb turned on....I could focus on what i was reading, pay attention to my task at hand, even if there was a lot going on around me...for the first time EVER!
So, I should not have, but I wanted to go to a doctor that was closer for me....not an hour away. Upon first meeting Dr. Leib, she was very condescending and arrogant. Immediately felt like I was placed in a position to feel defensive about wanting to remain on Ritalin. I chose to take the smallest dose I could manage on, and in time, tried to only use it when I had a lot of reports to write and deadlines to meet. I missed one of my visits with her, and was charged a $50 fee, (that's fine, I understood that , it was my mistake). I paid it, rescheduled...appeared for the appointment, and her greeting to me "what brings you back here today?" I said "i need a script for the ADD", otherwise I'm doing fine....she said, "well you're not getting one here....you haven't used it as recommended.". HMMM...I used it "as needed.....sparingly....stretched out a 3 month supply to 5 months....my other doctor told me that is fine....I know of many children who are told "just take it when in school, or when you need to focus for homework". She said she will not prescribe me any and If I want some I should find a different doctor. She never had dialogue with me, just an arrogant, demeaning, unprofessional attitude. I was very offended because I read up on medications prescribed, I do my research, I don't like taking medications, I try to take only the minimal amount needed. She made me feel absolutely disregarded and there was no need for that. I am a professional who also has clients, and I am absolutely disgusted with her lack of respect, lack of empathy, and horrendous communication and social skills.

She is horrible scammer and black-mailer!!!! She will milk insurance, double your appointments, call family members tell how horrible you are doing and try to convince them that you need more appointments(They will get pissed off because none of what she says is true!), black mail you with collections if she cancel her un-needed appointments, and WILL file a psych report to the DMV to remove your license upon canceling. She thinks she is the only one who has the power to sign that DMV psych report,but will throw it on her desk with out reading it. She refuses to *sign it* until you double more appointments! We lawyered up, that is BLACKMAIL!!!!!!!! Do not go here for any reason!
