They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They were friendly and made me feel at home. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times.

My years at Penn in the 70's were steady regression from neurotic to borderline personality disorder with atypical depression. . I saw Ira Herman through student health every week in the Fall and Spring of my Senior year, even as I was calling Suicide Prevention lines several times a day for weeks on end from March to May. At our last session, Ira Herman told me he was going to be on vacation for the next month, but told me nothing else, not even my diagnoses since "labels don't matter". 35 years ago, he treated me very badly. 17 years ago, Psychiatrist interns from Hahnemann who I met socially told me that Dr. Herman continued to mistreat people as I had been mistreated 18 years before that.
