In general, we endorse the concept that, to reach our fullest potential, we needs to understand our limitations and weakness before attempting to reconstruct our life.
The treatment process is centered on the needs of the individual. Much like remodeling our house, we need to reconstruct our wellness by rebuilding the foundations of our lives.
As a psychiatrist, I have learned to listen to my patients and respect their pain. I have witnessed the difficult process of opening up and expose the inner self, in order to achieve emotional health.
I found that with empathy and respect I could learn better about their symptoms, conflicts, and vulnerabilities.
I have also learned that education and healthy life style, could be the best preventive medicine.
I hope to provide my patients with the necessary strategies to facilitate their healing process, and to promote their wellness.
I take progress notes, read and listen and, in my spare time give lectures and write psycho-educational plays.
