I went to a new Orthopedic doctor today. Got a few X-rays and a second opinion. I hope I don't regret saying this in the future (I don't want to steer anyone the wrong way) but thank God for Dr. Laurence Wolf. He's a great doctor.

I DON'T HAVE A HIP PROBLEM and I don't need a bone scan like the other doctor asked for. Dr. Wolf checked everything out (he did a thorough exam) and I'm fine. He said that for the placement of the pain...it's a MUSCLE problem. He saw no problems on my hip on the X-ray. I was so scared when the other doctor couldn't rule that out on the spot and suggested I get a bone scan to rule it out.

Good doctors can look at a problem, listen to the patient, and be able to tell if the pain is coming from where the patient says it is or not. This doctor did that.

Thank God and thank you all for your suggestions and help. A little physical therapy and hopefully I'll be back to half marathon training within a month or so :) YEEEE!!!
