First let me say I am using the Creighton Model for charting my fertility, and doctors in the Philadelphia area that are even conversant in it are few and far between. It was very strange and somewhat uncomfortable for me to talk with the doctor about my parish and pray during my visit, but she is very caring and so far seems to know what she's doing. A standard fertility specialist would not give me the time of day because my husband and I have only been trying to have a child for 6 months, but Dr. Tiongson acknowledges that I have several symptoms that would indicate infertility and is willing to work with me to identify and address it now. I have had many bizarre medical experiences in the last 10 years, but I think a visit to Dr. Tiongson is worth it if you want someone who is going to respect that you know your body and take your concerns seriously. That's important in any healthcare adventure.

No stars. This has got to be the worst experience I've ever had at the gyno. Firstly I believe that everyone is entitled to their own religious/non religious beliefs however, I do not feel that is a doctors place to ask questions about religion? She asked me what church I attend and when i responded that i do not attend church she gave me an awful awful look and just starred at me. Then she proceeded to ask me what religion i am, when i answered that i do not practice any religion but that i was raised Catholic she seemed to get angry and then started explaining to me that i need to go to church. She asked me if i am sexually active with my fiance to which i replied yes, well that wasn't the answer she wanted either. She told me i need to not have sex until i am married and on my honeymoon. That i need to tell my fiance this and that is how i test him to find out if he is the one. I have been having some issues that i needed answered and more or less the only response i got was "do not complain." LITERALLY that is what she said to me. She was completely unhelpful, completely offensive and totally unprofessional. When i left the office i felt awful and dirty. The only POSITIVE thing i can say about the entire experience is that the nurse was extremely helpful, polite and social. I'm pretty sure that what she did and said was illegal but I'm not quite sure HOW i can report this type of behavior. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE!
