Not very good . I am no better today with the daily pain. Its been 1 year ago this month He did surgery on my lower back.Rods pins and screws...I am the one who got screwed...My low back pain is worse and still cannot stand or walk for more than 5 minutes ...
Would not ever let him or anyone operate on my back agin !!!

After suffering for many months with extreme back pain, I was recommended by my cardiologist to see Dr. Abla and he made an appointment for me. My cardiologist told me that Dr. Abla was not only "one of the best neurosurgeons" but was "the best". I was impressed upon my first visit. He sent me to therapy to eliminate my problems and build up my core strength. I also had saccroillitis and bursa in my hips. After my physical therapy and my treatments it was decided that I definitely needed surgery. He tried to eliminate the need for surgery to no avail. On October 1, 2014 I was admitted to Presbyterian Hosp for my surgery. My only fear was my age, approaching 80 yrs of age, but I had every confidence in Dr Abla. From his Secretary to all his staff I couldn't have been more pleased. My surgery went smooth. My stay at Presby Hosp was great. Dr. Abla's visits and the constant care during the day from Dr Abla's assistants plus the nurses, aides and staff was beyond reproach. I for the first time in many times in hospitals in another state had a wonderful experience. I also have Coronary Artery Disease and was not afraid to go through with this operation! Again, I a cannot praise Dr. Abla enough. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants the "best" for their care or their loved ones or friends!
