He has terrible bedside manner. Will not answer questions adequately; mostly he answers with one word while looking at you like your an idiot! He is supposedly one of the best in the field to treat my rare disease, but honestly I am more than disappointed. I'm angry with his lack of preparation for the appointments and his disrespectful nature. I've read papers published that he has co-authored on the disease and in the rare moments he says more than a word in an explanation, he has directly contradicted the articles! Doctors should care enough to explain and answer patients' questions. Dr. Oddis certainly does not. Please reconsider making an appointment with him. If you care to be informed about your disease, treatment options, and follow-up find another specialist. He isn't the only one out there and your time, energy, health, and frustration level will all benefit from going else where.
