Waited over a month for a new patient appointment to address multiple skin concerns. They sent me new patient paperwork with totally incorrect last name. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment (which would've been the last of the day". Wasn't greeted very nicely and waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room before I was called back by a rude and obviously disgruntled woman. She asked me why I was there and became frustrated that I didn't have one isolated concern. She tossed me a paper gown and walked out. 30 minutes later, after sitting in this paper gown feeling entirely anxious from the experience thus far, dr Lebouitz walked in with another woman. He said hi, asked how I was, and I said fine. He asked why I was there because "multiple concerns" was written and I told him I had an uncomfortable experience when roomed because I was simply trying to establish care for multiple issues including family history of skin cancer and suspicious marks on myself that I had been cautioned about by a family dr. He said that I was "all over the place" and that he had a bad day so he needed me to just tell him what I wanted. I pointed to a mark on my face and he quickly said "that's acne". When I tried to explain further details about it he said that I was calling him a liar. I told him I was not and that I was just trying to explain symptoms. He insisted that I called him a liar and told me I ruined the pt doctor relationship. He then told me he would refuse to see me because we wouldn't "get along". I pleaded with him, stated that I waited over a month, had sat there for an hour, and had skin cancer concerns. He said that by challenging his instantaneous "acne" diagnosis that I was "coming at him". I told him I didn't understand. I hadn't raised my voice, hadn't become belligerent or disrespectful. I hadn't moved from my spot on the exam table. He then approached me and put his face right up to mine, less than an inch away and said, "you want me to come at you?" Or something to that nature. I felt paralyzed. I asked him what I had done wrong, pleaded for him to at least complete the appointment and he said, "we won't get along. I don't feel comfortable with you. Find another doctor". And he left. I was completely frozen and in tears, had to call my husband to pick me up. I was asked by several nurses to leave then because they wanted to close. My husband then arrived, asked to speak to dr Lebouitz to see what happened, and dr Lebouitz unwelcomely put his hands on my husband. My husband asked him to not touch him and the dr said, well now I see why you married her, you act just like her". I am traumatized by this man. He collects money off of Medicare patients who aren't going to speak up for themselves. He is abusive and unethical. I have been a nurse for over ten years, have been highly praised by many doctors for my performance as a nurse, and am also a graduated skin care professional. This man needs to have his medical license revoked.

I would never tell anyone to go see him! It was obvious I was just a number and not a patient... He was completely out of line with how he spoke to me. My treatment was rushed and I left with a perscription sample and a small slip telling me the rest will come in the mail. I am unsure why I was given a perscription for acne when he said that the bumps are cysts-maybe it works for both- I wouldnt know.. I just know not to have dairy 30 min before or after. I went in so excited as I had heard wonderful things about him.. The only person that was kind in that office that I came in contact with was the sweet girl at the front desk. I am sad that she has to work with such rude people being that she seemed so caring and kind. I would rather my wisdom teeth pulled out and get dry sockets in all 4 than to ever return to that office again!!!
