When comparing this Dr. Weiss to others in their field, I would say she is by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. I showed up on time for my appointment but she was 45 minutes late. When I asked a question about treatment options, she gave very curt responses and I had to keep prompting for additional information. She barely gave me an exam. She didn't provide any information about her findings from the exam. She seemed very rushed. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated.

Dr. Weiss is nice and reasonably attentive. My concern is that I had had a left upper lip lesion in plain sight on my face for at least 15 years. Dr. Weiss had seen me each year for 7 or 8 years and said it was benign. That was until one day she changed her mind and biopsied it. The brownish bump turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma. The MOHS resection resulted in me losing an area of my face the size of a quarter and 1/4 of my upper lip. I required subsequent plastic surgery and am left with a noticeable facial deformity and a slight drool when I eat. All this could have been avoided by a careful examination and a timely biopsy. One mistake should probably be overlooked. However, my wife, after having a complete exam, had to point out a lesion in front of her ear which she had asked about the previous year. It turned out to be a missed basal cell carcinoma too. If the main reason to see a dermatologist is to have skin cancers discovered and removed at an early stage, my experience is that Dr. Weiss is not careful enough.
