Dr. Shapiro and his entire staff are wonderful! We were the last appointment of their very long day and we were met with smiles and professionalism. Dr. Shapiro explained everything to my husband and me about his health. He offered very helpful suggestions and spelled everything out for us in such a caring way. His bedside manner is simply the best. We left feeling completely informed and reassured. Thank you Dr. Shapiro and your entire team!!!

Twice Dr. Shapiro failed to do angioplasty on a timely basis when the blockage was 99%; the second time the blockage was 80% and required 3 stents. Would not recommend Lankenau or Dr. Shapiro. Would highly recommend the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Lankenau allows hospitalists make cardiology diagnoses.
