My first visit I walked in and was not greeted by the woman at the front desk, she did not even smile, so it wasn't a friendly, comfortable experience from the start. I signed in, she checked me in, and then I say there for an hour and a half, waiting. At this time I went to the desk and asked how much longer it would be, I was very frustrated to see people coming and going during this time who had arrived after me. The receptionist did not apologize and rudely told me that my name must have been skipped because they were switching to online charts. Is it not her job to make sure that the people who check in are getting seen within a reasonable time? Previous doctors offices I had gone to would not allow someone to sit for that long without checking in with the nurse/doctor and then informing the client that it would be a longer wait. They had forgotten about me, then I had to wait another 30 minutes. I did not even see the doctor this day since it was my initial visit where only background and health history was reviewed. Believing it was a simple mistake, I let it go. My second visit was not any different. I waited for two hours and was treated unprofessionally by the older woman receptionist, whom greets other patients warmly in front of me and then speaks to me with a monotone voice and fails to even say hello or ask how I am; when I ask about how long it will take (after waiting 45 minutes) she explains that they usually have a 30 minute wait but they are behind and says it won't be too much longer. Yet it takes another 45 minutes. The doctor only saw me for 10 minutes and initially told me she didn't know what was wrong and that she didn't think she could prescribe anything for it until I explained I don't go to the doctor for just anything and it was severe ear pain, so she gave me an anti inflammatory and left with that. When I return to the office to pick up my monthly prescription, this same receptionist will ignore me and allow me to stand at the window for ten minutes before she slides the glass (doesn't greet me) and asks how she can help, finally. It took her 30 seconds to grab my envelope and I left. I feel more welcomed at a nail/hair/grocery store than I do there thanks to this receptionist. I worked as one and even I know that her behavior is intolerable even at lower paying positions. This happens every month that I return to receive my prescription. She represents dr.brown and it makes her office very unprofessional, especially after seeing so many complaints about this woman, yet no action is taken. I understand she is busy and has other tasks to complete and people to check in, but prioritizing customers is a critical part of being a receptionist that she clearly does not understand. She has ruined every experience at this office and I have thought of leaving solely based on this poor treatment at the receptionists behalf.

My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients here. The wait has gotten longer and longer from when I first started seeing them. Most of the time, they don't call me back for quite a while, but they've called me back quickly once or twice. The receptionist is rude and constantly leaves you on hold when you call in. I've timed it before..10 minutes! I spend a lot of time in the waiting room and then in the examination room waiting for the doctor. Then I have to remind the doctor of my medical history! . I've actually left the office a few times because of the excessive wait time. Very frustrating!
