Dr. Randall Williams is one of the kindest and most thoughtful physicians I have ever encountered (I am 67). He is an excellent clinician, meaning that he is committed to finding and discussing what might be the cause of a problem and the appropriate course of treatment.

The office is extremely well organized; clerical and intake staff are very proficient and efficient.

The best thing about Dr. Williams is that I can always get in at short notice. He seems knowledgable and wants to get to the root of solving problems to make you feel better. The only critique I offer is that there is little consideration for me as a woman over 40 who is still considering children. I have several small fibroid tumors that another Dr. was willing to help me with as I wanted to try and get pregnant. When I moved to North Carolina and to Dr. Williams, he continuously talks about how large the fibroids are (even though they haven't changed in size), and encourages hysterectomy each time I come in. This really bothers me because the fibroids do not bother me much, and I do not want to experience early menopause or take away my options. Though I haven't mentioned children to him, I do not think he should assume that I do not want to ever have any - especially since I'm single and have not yet taken the final steps to try and get pregnant, something I plan to do in the near future. My prayer is that next time I come in, I will come in as an expectant mother and be in search of prenatal care - as a 40 yr old! On another note, his nurse is quite compassionate as another patient mentioned -though she also mentioned hysterectomy (as though I don't know what one is), and told me that she's had one...like that would make a difference!
