Staff at Sanger was incredibly nice and helpful including the woman I spoke to on the phone, the women at the front desk & checkout, and the nurse. Dr. Massey however was the rudest doctor I have ever met and this was the worst experience I've ever had at an appointment. He spent less than 5 minutes with me as a new patient and asked WHY I was coming to him for a prescription refill (and in need of a new cardiologist since moving to charlotte) when he was slammed on a Friday afternoon and they kept throwing things on him. Without any of my cardio history he told me he was uncomfortable treating me and I probably just needed to exercise more to clear up the heart condition I've been experiencing for the past 10+ years. I tried to explain to him that my heart condition was exacerbated during exercise and that I was concerned it had become worse since the 5+ years since I had last been tested by a cardiologist. He had no response other than he needed my testing history. There was evidently no reason for me to be in the robe that the nurse had me put on since he did no tests whatsoever, but he was nice enough to leave the door open when he walked out saying sorry for the brevity, but it was a Friday afternoon. Also, in the hall I heard him yelling at the nurses telling them they needed to run things more efficiently since he only had 5 min for a new patient. I left the office sobbing and will not be back.

I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered. The staff was very friendly and welcoming during my visit. I appreciated their hospitality. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most.
