Dr. Gingrich has been in the Wailuku Medical Group on Maui, Hawaii for one week. Her staff was extremely friendly. They appeared to be competent.. She reviewed my file from the Mainland (about one inch thick, filled with recent blood tests, Bone Marrow Biopsy results and a Ct Scan. I also had an earlier letter copied from my doctor on Mainland summarizing my disease, Multiple Myeloma.. She was unusually current on MM developments, potential problems and treatments (both old and new). I was diagnosed in 2003 and have scanned the internet world over for info, and know more than many oncologists about recent developments and slow diagnoses. She prescribed an appropriate treatment for my visit here in Maui, in my opinion, slightly more aggressive than my local doctor, and much more so than City of Hope. I have no reservations about seeing her again.
