The initial new patient packet sent to me said that new patients were allotted a 30 minute slot. I was given 5 minutes. She did not even take my blood pressure. I made an appointment with her because I was told that she is a Lyme Literate doctor that aggressively treats Lyme disease. She did not even discuss my symptoms with me! Seemed completely disinterested in my history or in helping me be well. She looked at my labs from my prior doctor, asked me 3 questions and after a 5 minute visit I was told there was nothing she could do for me and sent on my way. It seemed like she was so intent in getting me out of her office she could care less what was ailing me. It was a completely humiliating and degrading experience. No ONE deserves to be treated in such a manor, especially someone you are paying to help you. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy!

I contacted Dr. Stokes after over a year of being treated for everything from Sjogrens to Depression to RA. In November the lyme seemed to be affecting my nervous system and brain. Upon visiting a store the owner told me of her experiences that much aligned with mine. She sent me to Dr. Stokes. Dr. Stokes is so well informed and knows the symptoms of lyme that she can analyze and treat the symptoms along with the blood tests. Most Drs..take a test and if it is negative they say you do not have lyme. THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY THE CASE. After years of feeling horrible, I am like a new person. She really cares. Excellent Dr. Not that this is important, but if you are sore....
The chairs in the waiting room at this doctor's office were definitely above average. I was comfortable. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was very satisfied with my visit with this doctor. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff.
