A gross generalization, perhaps unfair, but dermatologists can be a bit strange. Each medical specialty tends to draw a particular personality type to its ranks and dermatology is no different.

Here you will find quite the opposite-a young, engaging physician; knowledgeable and quite interested in her patients welfare. Of note is her interest in solutions to problems from a financial standpoint-meaning cost savings for her patient-and that is certainly unusual.

We both have seen her and would describe the experience as direct, straightforward, respectful and competent. From a dermatology standpoint this is the practice to engage.

Dr. Yalowitz was competent, thorough and friendly. I was seen promptly and the staff was polite.
