As a licensed Esthetician (skin care therapist), I was very disappointed in my visit. I came in for both a skin cancer screening and with concerns about a skin disorder. I could hardly call this a screening. He barely looked at me and I had to ask him to look at my legs. He did not look at me below the waist, he did not check my scalp or in between my toes and fingers which is pretty standard. I am a fair redhead, which puts me at high of risk of skin cancer coupled with a strong family history of skin cancer which I disclosed to him, and still no thorough screening. He also had no recommendations whatsoever as far as the skin disorder I presented with.
