This has been my pediatrician for nearly 4 years and if it wasnt for their staff I wouldnt be running out the door with my childrens charts!
They have 2 locations; Morristown and Livingston. I started out at Morristown and loved Dr. Meshko but both nurses were horrid. The one stunk like cigarette smoke all the time and the other was actually harmful to my child. After my incident with the nurse jabbing my daughters arm with a needle like she was sticking a thermometer in a turkey I transferred over to Livingston. When they asked why and I told them about the nurse Dr. Lander said this wasnt his first complaint about the nurse and he would handle it.
I dealt with the fact that the office is in the middle of no where and shabby looking to boot because Dr. Meshko and Dr. Mehta are fabulous! Dr. Lander, not so much. The one time he did see my child he asked me why I was getting so worked up over my child playing with a sliding glass door and that i should calm down. Okay. Through out the years the staff has continued to dissapoint me. The final straw is the staff is refusing to sign a Universal Health Care form that is required for entry at school or daycare until my 3 year gets blood work done. The blood work is not mandatory for the schools but it is their own policy. It is my right as the parent whether or not I wish for my young children to be subjected to blood work; not theirs! They are not god, they are not the law; just doctors and nurses. It is immoral to with hold their signature on a mandatory school form especially when my child has had every immunization and check up for almost 4 yrs!
