I've been going to Dr. Bridges for about 2.5 years and now find myself looking for a new doctor. The good: She takes the time to answer all your questions and she knows what she's talking about. She's friendly and makes you feel comfortable. The bad: her staff is awful, especially the receptionist. I have never encountered someone so unprofessional before. She doesn't know how to say thank you or you're welcome. She responds with "mmmhhhmmm" to just about anything you say to her. Dr. Bridge's office could stand to be cleaner and the wait time is painful. However, the main reason I will no longer use her services is because of the way she delivered my baby. Mind you, my Son did not want to come out and she ended up delivering him at 2:30AM. I know she had finished a full day of work and we were all tired, but I saw her nod off while trying to get him to drop! She didn't coach me through the delivery as I was hoping she would. Instead she threatened to cute my epidural drip in order to get me to push harder. It was my first delivery and I was really hoping for someone positive and caring to coach me through it. Her old school, "tough love" approach left me frustrated and angry.
