Dr. Ebert fixed my lip 25 years ago. I was attacked by a dog at the age of five, and Dr. Ebert was called to the emergency room to care for me. He was kind, professional, and saved me from the stigma of a facial deformation. My lip required 18 stitches and he cared for me several months after the attack. I believe that if Dr. Ebert had not been there, my lip would not have healed properly. When I look at pictures taken immediately after the attack, I am amazed that the scar is barely noticeable. My lip was completely torn, but I have to point the scar out when I tell the story. It is nice when someone says, "Oh, I see it now that you point it out. I never noticed it before." I remember Dr. Ebert's kindness and the kindness of his nurse. He even put a wash cloth over my eyes during the surgery because the light was bothering me.
