He has never let me down. After all visitations over many years. I feel relieved following his appointment.

The questions in the survey are leading and not in the way I want to go.
I will start with the office staff. This office staff is friendly but has no organization that I have seen. Every visit my current labs, surgery notes, etc. are not in my chart for my visit, even though the information has been IN THE OFFICE for days if not weeks before my appointment. It just never makes it into my chart. I either have to inform the doctor of what has happened in my recent surgery or wait while the lab is contacted to fax information. Either way, the doctor has not looked at my current information until we are sitting there, waiting, while he reads it for the first time.

When I call the office with a question I rarely get a call back from anyone: nurse, office staff, etc. Very frustrating.
The wait time in the office is extremely long. Last visit I waited for 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time. I have waited as long as 3 hours (not kidding). The desk person said that 1 1/2 hours "wasn't bad, really." Oh. Really.

So, getting to the actual doctor visit. He does consider all information and comes up with ideas but does not always convey important information. He is into research and reforming the current medical model and will talk about those things at great length. While it is interesting, I want to know about my medical situation and what I am going to be doing.

The office is in a new building on the university campus and is clean and safe. There is a great cafe on the entry level that I highly recommend!! We go eat there even when I don't have an appointment.

So, to sum up: staff is friendly but inefficient, the doctor is knowledgeable but disorganized and distracted. Keep looking.
