Dr. McGivern had been recommended to me. She is reasonably qualified and friendly but a bit cold. She is very quick to form opinions based on little information and suggest meds but does not do very well listening to patients or explaining her decisions. She diagnosed me with a disorder which I do not have and only found out about later through my therapist. She also accused me of being there just for "hits" of a medication that I didn't even ask about after I had asked for other options to help manage my anxiety. If you want to be heard and not talked down to, I would look elsewhere.
