I had a spinal fusion and ended up with nerve damage that caused drop foot, where I can't lift the right foot to walk properly. I stumble constantly and have fallen many times. Before the surgery I was fit and loved to ride my bike. Now I can't walk for exercise, or ride a bike, so I have gained 25 pounds. My entire life has changed for the worse. I am far worse off than I was before the surgery.
