Services Crowns
A dental crown is used to completely cover a tooth in order to strengthen it as well as replace missing tooth structure resulting from a cavity, crack or broken down filling.
One Visit CEREC Crowns
Crowns at Winneconne Family Dentistry are made and cemented in one visit! With the use of CEREC technology, digital pictures are taken of your tooth and then the crown is made with an in-house CAD/CAM machine. When the crown is finished, we cement it into place and you’re done! No more temporary crowns, bulky impressions, second crown fitting appointments or having to get numb twice!
Dental Implants
Implants are used to replace one or more teeth. Crowns, partial dentures or complete dentures can be made to attach to implants in your jawbone and provide a natural, tooth-like feel especially when replacing multiple missing teeth. Implants have become the most predictable way to restore missing teeth and are the best treatment you can choose to replace a missing tooth or teeth.
Bridges
Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining them permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between.

Dentures and Partials Dentures
Partial dentures and full dentures are removable prosthetic devices used to replace missing teeth. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Both full and partial dentures can also be anchored by dental implants for added support and retention.
Cleanings and Periodontal Assessments
For a person with healthy gums a dental hygienist will remove the plaque and tartar that has built up from around the teeth that sits above the gum line. For patients with signs and symptoms of gum disease such as: bleeding gums, bad breath, loose teeth and bone loss, a deeper cleaning may be indicated as well as cleanings 3 to 4 times a year. Unhealthy gums are a significant health concern and may lead to tooth loss and are associated with the increased potential for stroke, heart disease and most recently, infertility. A periodontal assessment is completed each and every time you visit our office whether you are healthy or have a previous history of gum disease. one of the most important things you can do to improve the overall health of you and your family
Root Canals
A root canal is a treatment used to save a tooth that is badly decayed or that has become infected. During a root canal, the inside of the tooth where the nerve is located is cleaned and sealed. Following a root canal, a crown is recommended to protect the now brittle tooth from breaking.

Tooth Colored Fillings
Fillings are used to treat areas of decay in a tooth. Fillings can also be used to repair small breaks in teeth. At Winneconne Family Dentistry, we offer mercury-free fillings and safe mercury removal.

Sedation Dentistry
Dr. Ryan and his team understand that most people have at least some anxiety about going to the dentist. We don’t want that to deter you from getting the treatment you want and deserve. For that reason we offer nitrous oxide/laughing gas as well as sedation dentistry to help those that have a fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Ryan offers complimentary consultations to discuss your anxiety and what he can do to help you regain the smile and confidence that you deserve.
