This is a horrible facility. My husband had a really bad tooth ache as which he went to Valley oral Surgery to see what could be done. At the consultation we explained to the dentist that our insurance wouldn't cover a complex surgery for another 6 months, so needed to know how it would be filed before proceeding. The dentist assured us it would be filed as simple extraction as the issue would not need complex surgery. After the appointment our insurance denied coverage because the dental office filed as complex. We called and explained what we were told, they refused to file it correctly. I tried to get my husband's xrays and medical records so we could switch to another dentist, they tried to refuse since we still had a balance...which is a violation to HIPAA federal law!!!! If I wanted to switch to another dentist because they are crap, I am allowed to get those records. After being put on hold again, they came back and asked where they should send the records.

I recently had a wisdom tooth extracted at Valley Oral, and it was a very unpleasant experience. I attempted to communicate several health issue with Dr. Larry Meador prior to surgery, but he was uninterested and as a result my recovery is unnecessarily difficult. I found any type of communication with him almost impossible; in fact several times I noticed him looking out the window as I was explaining health complications to him. He was preoccupied, uncaring, and uninterested in his patient or his work. I certainly do not recommend him as an oral surgeon.
