The staff was nice, but I had a problem with the dentist himself. I came in to get his opinion on whether I needed a root canal. After going through the usual procedures, he put numbing gel on me and started to prep me for the procedure without telling me what he was doing. I finally got the courage to ask him what he was doing and he simply stated he was about to begin the root canal. I had to inform him that I did not want to have a procedure done that day; I simply came in for a consultation. He seemed annoyed at this and his friendly demeanor dropped from there.

I was slightly disturbed that a doctor would try to begin a major procedure on a patient without explaining the procedure or even asking permission to begin it.
