We have used this office for over 12 years and my boys are older now and have not visited for awhile. Called at 7:30 on a Tuesday morning and was able to make appointments for them back to back on Thursday at 10:00 and 10:30. I was asked if their insurance had changed and I told them I wasn't sure their dad carries them but he has not changed jobs. The boys went for their appointments, the 10:00 appointment went in at 10:30 and was in the middle of an exam and the 10:30 appointment was called back around 11:00 when my son, who was in the middle of an exam, was told that they no longer take their dental insurance so they could not complete the exam and my other son was told they couldn't see him. This was the most humiliating experience for them and they were really mad about sitting in the waiting area for as long as they did to be told they couldn't been seen. The staff should have checked their insurance at least the day before not as they were sitting in the dental chairs and then pretty much told to leave. We have had issues with this office for years; treatment plans changing month to month, billing, appointment problems, etc. so I guess this is a good way to force me to find them a good dentist.

My wife and I used Fairfield Dental & Orthodontics for just over 2 1/2 years. Things went fine for normal cleanings. They have changed staff a few times. Not sure what this "Dentalworks" thing is but it looks like a franchise set-up. Anyway, I highly recommend you look at other Dentists. Why? After a few weeks of pain on one side of my mouth I decided I better go in and have them have a look. I called Monday morning and the person who answered asked if it would be alright for them to call me back. I guess they were quite busy. I said sure.....It got to be Wednesday and no call back. I called again and then phone was not answered. A greeting asked me to leave a message. I did. No call back the rest of the day. So then on Thursday morning I called in (this being my third attempt in four days) again. No answer again. I did not leave a message this time. I simply decided I needed a new dentist. On Friday they actually called me back!!! By then I already had reached out to my friends for local dentist references and had researched other dentists in the area and made an appointment.
