I am in absolute tears as I read these reviews. I wish I had done my research before going to this dentist. I just had an appointment with this dentist this morning and am incredibly upset with my experience.

A year and a half ago I broke one of my front teeth and had it fixed with a filling just like brand new. Recently it broke off again and I needed to have it refixed. I got a recommendation from my orthodontist to go to Dr. LaSell. When I go to my appointment the staff was very rude and pushy. They seemed like they were in a very big hurry. The funny part was that my appointment was at 8am (so I knew it was too early for them to be running behind).

When the dentist finally came to fix my tooth he was only with me for less than 10 minutes. I'd say 10 minutes is an overstatement. I was shocked that he had filled my broken tooth so quickly. He asked me to feel the tooth and tell him if there were any rough edges he needed to smooth down. I told them there was a huge bump on the back of the tooth. He told me that that was tartar build up and he couldn't fix that without a cleaning visit. I took his word for it and went to scope out my tooth AFTER the appointment was over (At EVERY other dentist I've ever gone to they've given me a mirror to look at my teeth at the end before I even get out of the chair). I checked out my tooth and there was a huge bump on the back (which is my actual tooth). I had expected the dentist to fill the entire area and mold the filling to make my tooth somewhat whole again. After debating with myself I went back and said I wasn't happy with the filling.

Long story short, the man didn't listen to a word I said. I explained exactly what I'd had done in the past and he insisted that he could work on the tooth more but that was only going to make it weaker. Eventually he got out a plastic tooth display and showed me things on it. That's when I realized he wasn't listening and I wasn't going to get what I was asking for. I'm making another appointment for ASAP with another dentist and I'm going to figure out how to get my money back!!!
