They used this water thing to get into my gums for my cleaning, it was painful. They said I had two cavities after my cleaning - although I had no pain. So I was going to get one filled at a time. So at the first filling they drilled out almost a quarter of my tooth, punctured a nerve and then put my metal filling on my punctured nerve. Metal is a conductor, so everything hot or cold I would eat or drink would *zing* my tooth... it was very painful. Of course I didn't know this at the time, so I called to tell them I was in pain, but they said that was normal and if I was still in pain "IN A FEW MONTHS" to let them know.
Needless to say, I was miserable, so I had another dentist look at it, and told me what went wrong.
I called Dr. Perry, telling him what happened, to give him some critical feedback and he was very defensive.
I got it fix, which included a root canal and crown (i.e. $$$).
